I had read some reviews of this little machine since the summer, and was excited for it to arrive in the U.S.
After running through the simple setup procedure the machine was ready for its maiden run. The Tassimo came with a package of Gevalia Signature Blend coffee and a package of Twinings Earl Grey Tea. I also purchased the Gevalia Cappuccino and the Suchard Hot Chocolate for my kids.
I tried the Cappuccino first. This is a two step process with the Espresso brewed first, then the milk process next. This process was as easy as expected without mess. In about a minute I had a wonderful cup of cappuccino. The taste was outstanding and the beverage was nice and hot (which I have not experienced with other single serve machines). The removal of the T-Discs was very easy without a mess. The milk T-Disc left a slight residue on the puncture mechanism, but that was easily wiped away. Next, I tried the Twinings Early Grey Tea. I am not a tea expert and don't drink much tea, but I found it to have a nice smooth flavor and just the right strength.
I will be using my new Tassimo everyday instead of spending $2.00 at Starbucks, plus the gas to drive out of my way to the location. The Tassimo cappuccino comes out to be $1.00, which might seem high to some, but to those that travel to Starbucks, you will find the Tassimo to be as good as Starbucks without leaving the house.
I highly recommend the Tassimo at this point (1 day). I hope it holds up well with daily use.

I have the machine only a few days but wanted to share my thoughts in case you are "shopping" around for a pod coffee maker.
I am going to base my judgements on a Krups home cafe maker and the Tassimo..
First, the taste of coffee is much better to me with the Tassimo. The Tassimo is also hotter than the Krups, which is good because I add cold milk to my coffee. I have tried different pods (Folgers, Maxwell House) with the Krups and never got the "bold" flavor which I got with the Tassimo.
My only complaints are that the Tassimo doesn't have a wide variety of coffee available, hopefully this will change.
The Krups doesn't taste bad, but against the Tassimo it is weaker tasting. I would also have liked it if the Tassimo had auto-off like the Krups does. Little thing.
If you are looking for a pod machine I would highly recommend the Tassimo -- I haven't tried the Latte's yet -- waiting for a shipment to come.
Note-- The Tassimo take K-Cups not home cafe pod - -these K-Cups are not available everywhere yet - -I was only able to find it on-line. The Home Cafe Pods are available in my local supermarkets as well as on-line --lots of flavors to choose from.
I also wanted this machine to be able to make Hot Coco for my family --
The Tassimo is a great product which is worth the price.

If you're looking for a novelty coffee machine, this is for you but it won't give you real coffee or cappucino.
This machine appears to be a cheaper knock-off of the Nespresso D90 and Concept capsule machines, which make excellent coffee and espresso. It tries to go one step further with the milk pod to give you instant cappucino but falls flat.
The package says it's creamer made from milk. Doesn't taste like milk and half the pod goes unused on the automatic setting. It says not to refrigerate the creamer so you can't use the leftover milk again.
If you're comparing this to Starbucks (I think Peet's is better) coffee, this is worse.
The positive reviews seem suspect. The reviewers have either nothing critical to say about other products they've rated or this is their first review. This is not to say that I'm working for a competitor, I just know what the better machines are.

To start with so you understand where I am coming from, I have owned several coffee machines over the years, from inexpensive Mr. Coffee up to Bunn coffee makers in the drip coffee arena.
A couple of years ago I was able to aquire a Solismaster machine by Baratza which retail over 500 dollars. Those machines are categorized as Super Automatics because they basically do all the work for you.
Now the thing about a lot of Super Autos is that you still have to manually froth the milk. Some machines this can be a really messy procedure but the Tassimo really makes it the easiest and best I have seen.
Basically this machine uses discs as you have already read but what's really nice is there is a wide variety of brands from Maxwell house to Gevalia. Gevalia makes some really good coffee so when I saw that brand I was interested.
So basially you put your disc in and press the button and immediately get a cup of whatever you chose. IF you have Cappucino you have to add a cream disc as well. The milk is nice and frothed and really makes a good Cappucino comparable to a coffee house. There's a really bad review here I was surprised to read since you can adjust the strength of the coffee. This is more than a novelty.
I can tell you that I have tried many of the single serve machines and bought a Senseo. The Senseo ended up in a Garage sale. This machine is really sweet, makes a lot of different types of beverages and has plenty of brands to choose from.
This one is a keeper. Of course the only drawback is having to use those discs. It seems a little wasteful but you can get on a mail program and they will send you fresh discs automatically.
You can read a review of this machine over at [...] who have really good things to say about this machine too.

I have found the Tassimo to be very easy to use. The machine works extremely fast. Your beverage will be finished in less than one minute and will be ready to start the next one immediately. The beverages are surprisingly hot and of high quality. We love the cappuccino!! The capuccino ends up costing about a dollar per serving and is very well worth it when you consider what you would pay getting one at Starbucks.
The disks are available by mail order through www.Tassimo.com or Linens's & Things, Bed Bath & Beyond etc. It also comes with a two year warranty and when you register your machine, they will send you two full size packages of your choice of beverage.
I have never written a review of any product, but since this is new to USA, I thought I would add my two cents. I would highly recommend this for those who want variety and/or one cup at a time.

My husband recently bought me the Tassimo system, and when he told me it was coming I was rather unhappy, as I thought it was an expensive waste of money. And I did not like the idea of having to buy dedicated products for this device. I consider myself a demanding and sophisticated connessieur of coffee, always brew my own coffee from fresh, high quality beans, and never have drunk any fancy coffee out of a home system that I enjoyed.
Now that I have tried the Tassimo, I am simply dumbfounded. I cannot believe they were able to get this machine to work so perfectly. My first-ever latte from the Tassimo was virtually indistinguishable from the best lattes I've had in Rome. You simply cannot get latte or cappuchino drinks anywhere nearly this good anywhere in the Twin Cities -- or New York, for that matter -- and the Tassimo is far more convenient and, per cup, much less expensive. It is fast and very easy to use.
This is one of those rare consumer products that delivers quality and satisfaction far, far beyond one's expectations. How anyone can dismissively review this extraordinary product is beyond my understanding.

Overall, I am very pleased with the Tassimo. I bought it the first day it came out, and I love the choice of drinks you can make - something for everyone as my kids love the hot chocolate and I love the latte and cappuccino.
Yes - the machine is a little noisy as it makes the drink, but I would compare it favorably with Starbucks - and it is a lot cheaper than a daily visit to a coffee bar. It also has some water run off with each drink made. Generally, this is a minor issue.
I like to experiment with the drinks and enjoy weakening, strengthening and mixing the chocolate with the cappuccino to get a Mocha.
Is it a top of the line expresso maker? No - but it is not aimed for that segment of the market. For the average family that likes coffee, tea and hot chocolate, it is great and I would recommend it.
One issue will be that unlike the other single serve machines, it uses only t-discs. Great idea from Kraft's point of view as it ties users to their brands. Not sure if it is so good from a consumer's point of view.

When I bought the Tassimo my wife was skeptical to say the least. She figured it would be just another over priced kitchen counter queen that takes up too much space. When she saw it she was impressed by the compact size and even more impressed by its performance. She is a cappuccino and mocha drinker and she says this machine is a "keeper". I for one like a good latte and the Tassimo does not disappoint. As far as espresso goes, I have a machine that makes a superior shot, but not my much, so I will continue using it for straight shots but in a cappuccino or latte I cannot tell the difference between using it or the Tassimo.

Just received the Tassimo, and to my dislike the Machine did not work, now after waiting for two weeks to get this machine and joining the club online to get del every 4 weeks, I have to send it back to a service center to get it repaired, which should take about 5 weeks with the turn around, So the conculsion is simple spend about 200 bucks for a machine that cant be used for at least 2 months..
Great tasting coffee ? Not sure yet........

I have had my Tassimo since June, 2005 (yes June - bought it at its US Debut before it went on the open market). Love the ease of use, the variety, the ease of cleaning. It always brews just the right cup. I did not think I would use it as much as I do. I discovered I go through 4 - 6 bags a month - if not more. No waste!!
It has been great for a couple parties - each person could get the type of coffee they wanted (decaf, regular, cappucino, hot chocolate). What a find. I recommend it to all.

I purchased the Tassimo at Bloomingdales after seeing a demonstration and came to Amazon to buy my T-discs. The woman at Bloomingdales actually tried to prevent me from buying the Tassimo and suggested another system-the Keurig, since Tassimo requires clean up with a clear disc (+ 2 pages on clean up in the manual) and the coffee is a bit non-American. The drinks I have made at home were just ok. The machine is loud and messy. I am returning it. I went to Amazon to buy the Keurig but then found the Flavia Fusion drinks station under Sharper Image which does more than just coffee and tea- it makes cappuccinos and lattes. I went to Sharper Image and bought a Flavia for $119-which came with some cool syrups and sprinkles and loads of sample coffee, tea, chocolate and cappuccino packs and travel mug. My wife, daughter and I love the Flavia. It makes great tasting cappuccinos and mochas and great hot chocolate for my daughter. The Flavia packs are less than Tassimo and Keurig and taste better. Their website to buy drinks is really cool and they just sent me an email on their new wellbeing drinks. At Sharper Image the sales guy told me the Flavia is made by the company that makes M&Ms and Milky Way and now know why the Flavia drinks taste so good. There is also no where near the same clean up required for Flavia that I had to do with the Tassimo. I should have listened to the sales rep at Bloomingdales and not bought the Tassimo from the start.

After listening to Imus hype this thing for weeks I bought it for my wife's birthday. It makes great coffee but the grinding noise and vibrating water pump were just too annoying. I am returning it within the 30 day trial.
My wife and I don't get up at the same time every morning and the noise was horrendous for the person trying to get an extra 30 minutes of sleep.

The Tassimo is a very nice beverage machine. The machine is fairly noisy, and the selection of T-Discs is a little limited, the cappuccino and hot chocolate it makes are fantastic. It is very simple to use, and very fast. For a single drink, it is much faster than even instant coffee made in a microwave, and much better tasting.

I bought this machine today based on Imus' hype and a 20% off coupon at B.B.& Beyond. I will probably return it within a few days. I like a strong cup with intense flavor and this doesn't deliver. I've been using the Senseo for about a year and am very happy with it--they sell Dark Roast pods for the Senseo and there is always a nice crema and a fairly intense flavor--and the Decaf is very good too and I drink that at night. However the concept of many varieties of coffee including espresso and capucino appealed to me so I decided to try the Tassino and have been largely disappointed since the coffee it produces lacks body and is just ok, not great. You can manually reduce the amount of water during brewing to get a stronger brew but that is hit or miss and the end-product is not nearly as good as that from the Senseo. In fairness I haven't tried the Espresso or Capucino pods yet or the Gevalia Crema but doubt that if they are good it will put me over the top because of my disappointment with the basic brew. Mechanically the machine is easy to use and the noise is not much different than the Senseo noise. The best thing about these pod units is convenience and absence of waste--you only make what you intend to drink--and with the Senseo you really do get a great tasting cup. Also with the Senseo I like that you use 1 pod for a half cup and 2 for a full cup and that the Senseo pods are cheaper. So unless I try the Crema or the Capucino and am blown away, I will more than likely return the Tassimo within a few days and resume using the Senseo. I will not likely go back to my old French Press method either because I love the convenience of the pod system: consistent great flavor, no waste and minimal cleanup.

I just got this after looking for something like it for a long time, and I think it's amazing. I wanted to be able to make lots of different products all within one machine. I have so far tried the espresso, the hot cocoa, and the earl gray tea, and have not been disppointed. The machine is very easy to assemble and the disks easily pop into the machine. If you are looking for something versatile, this is your machine. Also, it looks very modern sitting on the counter and it doesn't take up a lot of space.

I have had this for a few days now, and so far I am very impressed. Fast, practically no clean-up, and very good quality. To be able to offer guests a choice of coffee, coffee drinks, tea or hot chocolate is great. So far I have tried the Gavalia drinks that came with it or that are sold seperately in stores (Gavalia latte, cappucino), except the espresso alone (not a big fan of espresso), and the hot chocolate. The Gavalia coffee is smooth and mild and very good, though I am hoping the coffee I ordered through the Tassimo website includes stronger alternatives. Latte and Cappucino are very good, and comparable to coffee shop (though maybe not the top shops). I'll get to the Twinings earl grey tea soon, and make myself a mocha with Hershey's syrup. Overall, I have zero complaints about the function or quality. I am very anxious to get the coffee only offered through their website, although the Maxwell House brands are not available for some reason (support e-mail says available again soon).
The negatives, which for me are minor, are 1) expense. I like it so much I am drinking way too much. That'll slow down as the novelty wears off. 2) Why can't any of these pod makers account for a tall travel mug? It seems so easy to consider given the popularity. You can remove the entire cup holder, but since it is also the drip tray and steam relief valve you have to clean up some water in the bottom tray. I could not give it 5 stars because of this.
I am thinking of getting a second one for the office but not sure whether I get this one, or try the Kuerig (??) just for variety. It is hard to not get another Tassimo now that I know what it does. Also depends on others pitching in on t-discs. I may take it in for a week as a trial before I buy another one.

I BOUGHT THIS ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO . I LOVE THE COFFEE TASTE , IT IS EASY TO USE , IT LOOKS GOOD .. I AM A BIG COFFEE DRINKER BUT I DO NOT LIKE THE COFFEE TO SIT IN THE POT FOR MORE THEN A HALF HOUR . THATS WHY I BOUGHT THE ONE CUP . THE DOWN SIDE IS I DO NOT DRINK AS MUCH COFFEE BECAUSE 1. IT SEEMS TO BE EXPENSIVE FOR 18 DISCS AND 2. IF I HAPPEN TO RUN OUT I CANT JUST RUN TO THE GROCERIE STORE AND GET MORE, I HAVE TO GO TO A LINENS AND THINGS OR STORES LIKE THAT WHICH IS NOT SO CONVENIENT . I WOULD LIKE THE COFFEE TO BE STRONGER, BUT I WILL LIVE WITH WHAT I GET OUT OF IT. HOPEFULLY IN THE FUTURE THEY WILL WORK ON A STONGER BREW. THE LATTE AND CAPP. ARE GOOD , BUT THEY CAN ALSO BE STRONGER . AND THE HOT CHOCOLATE IS GOOD ALSO . I DO NOT DRINK TEA SO I CAN NOT COMMENT ON THAT. IT DOES READ THE CODE TO WORK SO I AM A LITTLE NERVOUS ABOUT THAT NOT WORKING IN THE FUTURE . BUT WE SHALL SEE. I GAVE IT A 4 BECAUSE OF ITS DOWN SIDES , BUT WITH A LITTLE WORK FROM BRAUN THEY CAN CHANGE THAT .. YES IT IS COSTLY ,SO IF THAT IS AN ISSUE THEN A REGULAR DRIP POT IS BETTER .

When I bought my Tassimo from Bed Bath and Beyond the sales rep told me I could order online Hazelnut coffee. I come to find the Tassimo has a very limited range and its of brands i never heard of. I really was looking forward to making Hazelnut cappuccinos in my home. I am returning this system and going with the system my sister just got, the FLAVIA since it not only makes cappuccinos it makes Hazelnut, French Vanilla cappuccinos. I can't believe these guys launched a system in the states without flavored coffee.

I have had my Tassimo for just over a month now (received it 10/4/05) and I am in love with it!!! I have all the different T-Discs now since I can get them online from many places. I got my last order of T-Discs from Gevalia online, including the European varieties. I can have Tea, Hot Chocolate as good as any I have ever had, Cappuccinos, Lattes, Espresso, Crema Coffee (better than the "fake crema" on the senseo), Bold coffee, mild coffee. Since my wife drinks tea and I drink coffee and coffee drinks, and our nieces love hot chocolate when they visit, the Tassimo is perfect.
The beverage selection is still limited (no flavored coffees), but I have purchased some flavored syrups and can now make flavored Cappuccinos and lattes that rival any coffee shop for a fraction of the cost!!! This is REAL, high quality coffee too, unlike the flavia which uses some powdered yuk mixed with water. Right now they have Gevalia Coffee (regular, decaf, espresso, crema,)and Tea, Twinings Tea, Suchard Hot Chocolate, Kenco coffee, Carte Noir Coffee (Regular, Espresso, Crema). The Cappuccino and Latte are packed with Gevalia espresso, but from what I have read, it sounds like they will be releasing an entire line of Maxwell House Cafe collection varieties sometime in November. I am not sure about Maxwell house, but I really like the Gevalia products!!!
The T-Discs have premium ground coffee, Tea, liquid Suchard chocolate in them. The Tassimo machine reads a bar code that tell it how long to brew, the correct temperature and bar, and the machine does the rest.
There are a few things to get used to, like the steam and water runoff that is caught by the drip tray after every brew....and the Tassimo is louder than a regular drip machine, but not nearly as loud as a foamer on an espresso machine. The water container even has a filter, so that there is no transfer of some of the off flavors that tap water can give, since after all, coffee is 99% water.
The Cappuccinos and Lattes use real milk (ultra pasteurized and shelf stable), which make an exceptionally flavorful finished product.
I am confident that since this is made and backed by Kraft and Braun, that the coffee selections are going to increase significantly in the near future to offer more varieties and flavors, even though the selection currently available now is somewhat limited, it is of a very high quality.
Bottom line, this is an incredibly versatile, dependable machine that I love and will be using for a very long time. I love it so much that I have ordered several more machines to give as Christmas gifts. There is nothing else on the market that can do what this machine does - so many different beverages - such high quality - so fast and easy. Do yourself a favor and get a Tassimo!!

I thought when I got my Tassimo i would be drinking coffees that were the quality of Starbucks. I knew of Gevalia but I never knew Gevalia and Maxwell House were the same company. Now I now why. The Tassimo coffee is the same average quality of Maxwell House. Plus, When I made my tea it had a bit of a coffee taste since each beverage goes through a funnel. Not what i expected a 169 dollar machine to do.
Plus, I love flavored coffee and i thought the whole point of getting a single cup system was to make a cup of French Vanilla one cup at a time, without having to add syrups or creamers. I noticed on Amazon there are other single cup brewers with price points of $99 like the Keurig or Flavia, and both of these make flavored coffee one cup at a time. I was attracted to Tassimo with its cappuccino, but this drink is 99 cents and with Keurig and Flavia i noticed the drinks are less than 50 cents. I am going to donate my Tassimo to my neighbor who likes average Maxwell House and I am going to get a Keurig or a Flavia. I at least have tried these 2 systems at work and know they are better quality than Maxwell House.

After a lot of research (and sampling of competitors which my friends own) I took the plunge and must say am happy with the choice.
I have coffee most every day, and for years have used an excellent drip coffeemaker, grinding my own beans and using high quality roasts. My main reason for buying Tassimo was for convenience and consistency: so often my drip brewer (systemic to home brewers everywhere it seems) will struggle with consistent quality in small quantities (1-2 cups), leading to bad batches from time to time, not to mention the 1/2 to 1 cup that I have to throw away. Tassimo removes this problem being designed for one cup at a time, brewing 11 oz. in a matter of seconds and saves the time of prep and cleanup that I practiced every morning. This machine is well-engineered, easy-to-use and seemingly a cinch to keep clean. I consider the convenience of this a good balance for the extra cost per cup. But hey, convenience always costs money, right? The fact this machine can do tea and hot chocolate is a bonus (the Twinings Earl Grey is wonderful according to my fiancee who is an avid tea drinker).
I must admit that the coffee presently available with the Tassimo is perhaps not as strong or complex of flavor that I am accustomed to, but not so divergent as to cancel out the immensely valuable extra convenience. In fact I was very pleased with how good the teas were and that the coffee blends are tasty, at good temperature and lacking astringence. The jury is out on the espresso and lattes, however (seemed just a bit weak, but the manual mode on the machine, with practice, can help). Of course this is just my opinion.
For a device that's been on the market for barely a year (just recently in the US but began in Europe), I assumed that the limited selection and availabily of the T-discs would be an issue, but considering the pluses I will enjoy the small selection now and eagerly anticipate additional selection in the future. Kraft seems committed to the product according to their corporate website and recent press statements, and given they have a partnership with Starbucks, I have a feeling that we will see a LOT more variety and stronger coffees in the near future.

I have been doing alot of reseach on these pod systems and was really excited when the Tassimo came out since it made more than coffee. I was at Bloomingdales getting a wedding gift and they did a demo of this machine in the kitchen dept. I bought one and could not wait to take it home. The woman at Bloomingdales told me I had to prime my machine when I got home with a clear disc. I was a bit unsure on how to do this and when to do this so I called Tassimo customer service and they said " you need to use this disc 2x before you start your machine and use it everytime after you make a latte or cappuccino drink and at least 1 per month on top of that." I was really upset since I was never told I had to clean the Tassimo after every cappuccino at Bloomingdales. I felt I was really mislead, and I also noticed when I made my first cappuccino and latte drinks with the Tassimo that they really made a mess and it really did need to be cleaned after every milk drink. It was not only real milk but its a real mess. I also called customer service to see if they had any flavored coffees or more decaf coffees. The answer I got was: "the range we have is on test and we will come out with more soon." With so many other systems out there, I second guessed my purchase and decided I didn't want a machine on test that needed to be cleaned after every milk brew.
I naturally returned my Tassimo and noticed in Sky Mall that Sharper Image had a Flavia fusion which seemed to have the same drinks and more than Tassimo. The same day, I was flying to Atlanta and noticed in the US Air Club a larger Flavia which made cappuccinos and chai latte. I ordered a Flavia from Sky Mall and absolutely love it. With Sharper Image backing this, I knew it had to be the most innovative and best in the category. The best part about the Flavia is that everything happens in the pack and there is no cleaning at all between drinks. I can make a cappuccino, then a mochaccino, then a chai latte, then a hazelnut coffee, then an earl grey tea and get a fresh drink everytime with no taste of a previous drink. And get this- there is no where near the same cleaning required like the Tassimo. In fact there is no cleaning. There is no cleaning disk to worry about and no cleaning at all after making a delicious cappuccino.
The service my wife likes best with the Flavia is there standing order program on their website, which has no obligation and a hassle free monthly delivery to your home of whatever you want. You can even change your delivery time and range online or with a phone call. The Flavia range of drinks has 3 decaf coffees and a full range of decaf and naturally decaf teas. Tassimo only had 1 decaf product and no flavored coffee. The Flavia reps on the phone are also some of the best I have delt with. They were alot more informative on what Flavia can do than the Tassimo reps.
I can see how this holiday season consumers will be debating between a Flavia or a Tassimo. Let this review help those debating: there is no debate: go with a Flavia. Flavia has been around longer, they have no cleaning or cleaning disc to use between milk drinks, the best range, and you wont have to wait till a test is over to find out what drinks are coming out. Plus, if your a decaf drinker, you have more than 1 drink to choose from. Plus they have excellent customer service. I am definately buying more Flavia for Christmas gifts.

I am a coffee fanatic, and was sceptical about making coffee drinks one serving at a time, versus grinding and brewing my own. But I also love espressos Cappaccino and Cafe Latte...and ocassionaly tea. My kids like Hot chocolate. When I heard there was a machine that did it all...lets just say I did not believe it. I have seen the Keurig with the k-cups and thought the quality was just ok. My friend has a senseo, and swears by it, but I did not think the Pod coffee was that great. I also saw a Flavia machine in my travel agents office. My travel agent made me a Cafe Latte, and the foam tasted like bad eggs...it had a very chemical taste to it.
I saw the infomercial on Tassimo, and it looked like a great idea, but I thought it would be like all the others, and I didn't think about it.......until I was in a Linen's and Things a couple of weeks ago and they had the Tassimo.
I took the plunge and bought the Tassimo, and boy am I ever happy!!! First of all, my kids call it the "Star Trek Replicator" because it looks very futuristic, and it makes Coffee, Tea, Hot Chocolate, Capps, Cafe Latte, and, just like Captian Picard got from his replicator "Tea - Earl Grey - Hot".
The quality of all of the drinks is exceptional. My favorite is the Gevalia Crema...which leaves and espresso-like Crema layer much better than that of the Senseo.
The Tassimo is very well built, very sturdy, easy to keep clean, and you do NOT have to clean it after every drink or even Milk froth. all the brewing takes place in the disc!! sometimes there are a few drips, but they wipe clean. You are supposed to run the cleaning disc every 2-4 weeks. My wife is a clean freak, so she is glad that she can run the removable parts through the dishwasher if they get dusty...but there is no mess left over after brewing....it's a lot less work than a Pod brewer.
To summarize: This is a great item...well designed, cool-looking, that performs exceptionally well, and makes beverages for all different tastes!!! I think that this is going to be the big gadget for Christmas this year, and will be around for a very long time!!!

After reading the reviews of the Tassimo here on Amazon, I decided I had to have it and picked one up at Bed Bath and Beyond (sorry, Amazon, I'm sure it works both ways). I was most interested in the latte drinks, so I picked up a separate latte package and a hot chocolate for good measure. The hot chocolate was fine and the machine is easy enough to use once you get it all set up. But man, the condensed milk product that serves as the second T-disc for the latte tastes genuinely horrible with a really creepy aftertaste. I made it through one cup, waited for the weekend and tried again, and this time I tossed it after the first sip. I really don't understand and frankly have a hard time believing anyone who claims you can get a latte (or I presume cappucino, since it uses the same "milk") comparable to a cafe or even a vending machine. I'll be returning the machine and eating the twenty bucks for the T-discs, a relatively small price for a big lesson about not buying an expensive item based on the lure of advertising copy that sounds too good to be true.

I have many Braun products and they are usually very good but the Tassimo makes weak coffee and sounds like a fish tank pump exploding! The 1st bad reviews I read complained about both of these points but I thought they were nit-picking so I bought one anyway.... Yikes - I wanted to like it but.... I thought I could wake up and put a mug under it, press a button and in a few minutes it would be done - BUT... many mugs won't fit unless you remove the cup stand which means water (plenty) will be on your counter in a few minutes... plus you can't walk away - you actually have to wait until the water heats up before you can push the start button!! So you have to stand there after you put the coffee disk in... really stupid!
The tea was good and at the perfect temp for me but it had artificial flavors in it! It is well built but a hassle to set up and poorly documented - major malfunction for Braun.

I bought this thinking I would get a great quality cup of coffee...but I was dead wrong. This pricy machine was one of the worst I tested - and the clean up is terrible. I saw an ad for this thought it was worth a try...not worth the $170.
I saw another system in Good Housekeeping in December that I purchased and now love...

I tend to burst out laughing when I read reviews from people who expected this to put a Starbucks franchise on their kitchen counter. No, it doesn't get close. But for the price, and the convenience, it's the next best thing. The machine makes good-quality hot chocolate, coffee drinks, and tea, needs next to no cleanup (who ARE these people that think the thing needs extensive breakdown and cleaning?) and, best of all, can switch easily from one to another without completely disassembling the device, scrubbing filters, etc. It's not going to put your favorite local coffee shop out of business, but for serving a crowd at brunch with diverse beverage preferences or just getting a few lattes together in the evening without having to clean up and scrub a thousand pieces of metal and plastic afterward, it's a terrific buy. Strongly recommended if you've got your head screwed on straight.

We've had our Tassimo coffee maker for a few weeks now and are still very happy with it. We've made the Latte, Cappuccino, Earl Grey Tea, and Signature Blend with very good results. This system is easy to use and the clean up is pretty much non-extistent. Today we recieved our two free packages in the mail and can't wait to try the new Gevalia and Lorenzo 'crema' versions. I'm giving this 1 cup coffee system a 5 star as we've experienced no problems to date.

I bought the Tassimo because I liked the idea of the one-cup coffee thing. I also thought the bar code concept was cool too. I ended up buying my first Tassimo machine, began the cleaning process and when I turned the machine on it sparked and smelled like burning wires. I unplugged it, plugged it back in and it was a no-go. So I returned that one for a second one, only to find that when I began the cleaning process again, no hot water came out and when I called customer service they said the nearest repair center was about 6 hours away from me. Also, the machine was horribly, horribly loud when I turned it on, and when I called the customer service line the guy told me that the machine is just loud. I never got to try the coffee, so I can't really say if it was good or not, but if it tastes anything like the way this machine is built, its probably horrible. I'm just lucky I was able to return it and get my money back.

I was so excited to get this product. I set it up and plugged it in and nothing. The Tassimo was a lemon. Straight out of the box. One light came on briefly and then went out. I'm exchanging it for another one. Maybe it will work .

I couldn't decide which coffee maker to get, I use the Keurig coffee maker at work with the K-cups and I'm very happy with it, but wanted to try the Tassimo since it was from Braun - I thought maybe if it caught on there would be more people making the T-disks. Big mistake. I bought the product, brought it home and yuk, the coffee tastes horrible. Reminds me of the Black & Decker one I tried last year with the pods - it tasted like instant coffee. The machine is also much bigger than I thought...did not look good on the counter. I wrapped it up and brought it back to Best Buy.
I then purchased a Keurig system...wow...much better coffee. And it has a great selection of coffees and teas. While it doesn't do hot chocolate, it's just as easy to put the kid's favorite hot chocolate with marshmallows in a cup and run hot water through the Keurig machine. The system is fast and easy to use, just pour filtered water in and it is ready to go in less than a minute. No wasted coffee, no stale coffee and everyone can have their own flavor.

Ok, bear with me. I have read all the reviews on Tassimo, Keurig and Flavia until I was so confused I could not see straight. I have a coffe maker, tea kettle and espresso/cappuccino machine. So, I went to Linens N Things and bought a Keurig after talking to a store clerk. Thought the coffee sounded better than Tassimo (I grew up and love European coffee-mud). Got it home to realize, oops, it did not make cappuccino or espresso. Bad for me. Didn't make tea or hot chocolate either. Went back and spoke with the store manager who knew alot more than the clerk. I was convinced and purchased the Tassimo. For a person who loves strong coffee, it does the trick. I have on order the european java's and cannot wait to get them. Here are some reply's that I have for the poor ratings some people gave the machine.
1. Cleaning is easy.If you have ever owned a cappuccino machine you know about pain in the butt cleaning. Everything comes apart and all you do is rinse the pieces under water after use. Most pieces are diswasher safe too.
2. Coffee can be made strong if you read the instructions. I was told by the manager to hit the button when the strength was where I wanted it and she was right. The Gevalia signature was great without a bitter taste. I did the same with the cappuccino. Got a great coffee. And, oh the Suchard's hot chocolate, yum!!!
3. Here is another interesting point. Kraft who is the owner of the T-discs has the exclusive rights the soon to be upcoming Starbucks coffee pods which will hopefully be released next year. 3 other store managers told me this and I read it on the Kraft/Starbucks website. Tassimo and Starbucks, wow!!!!
I now have taken off my counter 3 other appliances and have my Tassimo right there. It is a Braun which is a great manufacturer. Not everyone is going to like it, it is personal preference but it does everything that the others don't. I am personally willing to wait to see what falvor T-discs come out next year.
The only thing I have not tried is the tea until my shipment of Gevalia comes becuase I don't like Twining's but I can't wait.
Hope this helps some people determine which one to get. It is also nice when your shipments of T-discs can be sent to your house during the holidays sparing you having to brave the lines at the stores (free shipping also offerred). It is also nice when you can buy them at the grocery store too. I wrote off the Flavia becuase I don't want to have to send an appliance back to an internet store if it does not work and be left with nothing. I also like dealing with people face to face. For the people who had Tassimo's that acted up, I hope your new one's work for you so that you can benefit from the great products it makes.
Have a great day and thanks for listening.
(Addendum: Received the Gevalia tea, smashing! and the European blends, unreal. Xmas order was to be here 12/16, came today 11/28- excellent service. Going to buy some for Xmas gifts!!!)

After reading reviews - I went out and purchased one of these today. I really like the idea of the multi-drink machine. My wife and I have really become addicted to Starbucks French Roast (or Italian Roast) brewed in a French Press. But we don't like the time it takes to microwave the water and brew the coffee, not to mention it takes a lot of coffee. That prompted me to look for one of these single-serving machines.
With the unit, I purchased refills of hot chocolate, coffee creame, latte, & cappuccino. The hot chocolate is the family favorite so far...very good. Everyone wanted 2nds. The coffee creame is very dark, not quite the same savory flavors you find in the French Press, but still very good and no bitter flavor. The difference could be the brands of coffee. I really like the European latte, & my wife loves cappuccino's so those were tested next. Wow - we were very disappointed in these flavors. They use the same espresso (which in itself is ok - not great, but not bad either). Then you add a 2nd t-disk of creamer. The creamer has a very funny flavor, very much like the powder artificial creamer and has a nasty after-taste. Not even close to what I get from either Starbucks, or the automated vending machine in our Parris office in France.
We aren't tea drinkers so we won't be trying that. The other reviews say that the standard Gevalia coffee is light-to-mild. We prefer bold dark roast, so I don't really want to buy that. I avoided using the samples that were included in case I want to return the unit.
Another really disappointing feature is the serving size. Using my standard coffee cups that came with our modern dish set, the serving size didn't even quite half-fill the cups. I'm not too upset that many of the mugs & cups in my cupboard don't fit in the machine...I don't mind using the few that fit and pouring into my favorite vessel. The t-disks are $0.50 each, and $1.00 each for espresso or latte. For a full cup of coffee, that comes to $1.00 per cup - a bit pricey for something that does not make me say WoW!
I read some of the other reviewers express frustration that you have to insert the disk and then wait for the water to heat up before you can press start. That is a little frustrating, but I believe that time is counted towards the 1 minute brewing time. It would make much more sense to allow the user to insert the disk and immediately press start and walk away. After all, the whole idea is about convenience.
Overall, although it has not quite been a day so far, I don't think the value is there in this unit. The convenience and idea of the unit is great, but factoring in the cost of the unit and the cost of a full cup of coffee that doesn't say "wow" - well I'll likely return it after we use up the nearly $40.00 of "test brews" that I purchased with the unit.

The product works fine and produces decent quality coffee but my review is really about the customer service. I placed an order for the drink machine online not knowing that my wife had already placed an order to surprise me.
I called the number in the email I received to cancel my order on the same day it was logged. The woman on the phone told me she didnt have any of my information yet as the system takes 24 hours to update.
I called back Saturday afternoon and spoke to a woman who told me that it was already shipped out and the only thing I could do now was wait for it to arrive and refuse the package, returning it to them. I found it hard to believe that since their systems updated overnight, they had someone ready and willing on a saturday morning to ship that right out to me.
I called back Monday morning and asked for a tracking number and confirmation it had been sent out, the woman on the phone told me it had not been sent out yet but a request had been sent to the warehouse for fulfillment. I then told her I would like to cancel the order since it had not been shipped out yet. She then proceeded to tell me that once an order is placed it cannot be canceled, no exceptions, they just do not have the capability to cancel an order.
I found this a little incredulous so I asked to speak with her supervisor, she transferred me to a woman who proceeded to tell me the same thing that once an order is placed they do not have the power to stop it and I can either refuse the package or call my credit card company to stop the charges. I told her I did not see what the big deal was as it had not left the warehouse and asked if they really needed it to come to the point where I would have to stop the payment from my credit card company and all she could say was that she was sorry for my inconvenience.
I then asked to speak to her supervisor. She told me there was no one there at that moment that I could speak to, I asked for a direct line of someone I could even leave a message with and at that point she asked me to hold on to see if she could find someone. A few minutes later another woman came to the phone and repeated the same claims that they have no power to stop an order once it is sent for fulfillment. I told her I thought it was absurd that they would pay to box and ship it, and then pay to have it shipped back to them when we should just stop it right now and save everybody the hassle... but to no avail.
I finally gave up with the customer service reps' supervisor's suprvisor and told them thank you and hung up. Now, they are going to charge my card, which is a debit card(my mistake I guess) for a product I do not want and will not already have. It will take a least two weeks to get to my house, just so I can wait for it and send it back and then probably wait another 2 weeks to get my $170 credited back into my account.
Customer service is not their strong point.

I really enjoy my Tassimo so far. I have tried the Gevalia coffee, Twinings earl grey tea, and Suchard hot chocolate and have enjoyed them all. It really is easy to clean. If you are brewing coffee or tea you don't have to rinse the piercing unit at all. If you're using a milk or chocolate disc you simply remove the piercing unit and rinse it off. That is it! It really isn't difficult at all. I don't necessarily drink coffee and tea everyday so for me the Tassimo was a wise choice. If you are someone who drinks 3 to 4 cups of coffee a day you might consider the cost of the t-discs pricey. I enjoy the machine mainly due to the variety it provides. Especially for when I have guests and some like coffee and some like tea. The Tassimo isn't completely without it's drawbacks though. I will admit it is loud when it initially begins brewing, but then quiets down slightly. If you remove the drip tray in order to use a tall travel mug, then water will pour out onto the cup stand at the bottom and you'll have to wipe it up with a paper towel. But I don't consider that a big deal. I guess for some people it is a huge inconvenience. You can control the strength of your beverage by stopping the brewing process before it's complete just by pushing the button, or you weaken it by pushing the button to add more hot water after the brewing process is complete. For some reason the Maxwell House discs aren't available but I am unsure as to why. Since it is so new to the U.S. I am sure that in the future there will be more variety in the brands of coffees and teas available in the t-discs. If you still aren't sure you'll like it I suggest you call your local Best Buy or Linens N' Things (if available in your area) and ask if they will be having any in store product demonstrations so that you can check out how it works before you buy it.

When I purchased my Tassimo from Best Buy, I thought I was getting a premium machine that made authentic cappuccino. Instead, I have to clean the machine after each milk brew with a clear disc and just found out the coffee is made by Maxwell House- the king of average coffee. Definately not worth 169 dollars. Even Martha Stewart Live had an issue making a cup with a Tassimo- it didn't work 2x on live TV.
I had a Keurig before the Tassimo and was fed up with making hot chocolate without a k-cup. The range in Keurig is just coffee and tea and definately not worth going back to.
I guess I am going back to my French Press

I've had my Tassimo for close to two months and use it several times daily. I've never had a single problem with it - it's incredibly easy to use and clean up is simple (I don't know what the people complaining about mess are talking about). Best of all, the coffee, lattes, cappucinos, hot chocolate & tea drinks are great. No, it's not Starbucks - but it's as close as you'll get with a single serve home machine. I love it and recommend it highly!!

This beverage system is just wonderful. Very easy and fast to use and very high quality beverages. I had a hard time finding the filters, but I called Tassimo and they sent them to me. ($10 each). We also joined the automatic mailing program for beverages and that has worked out very nicely since the T-discs are not available everwhere, yet. The beverages that use the milk additive don't work as well since we live at 6,250 feet in elevation and the milk does not froth enough. The machine is also easy to clean and maintain. My favorites are the Gevalia Signature Blend coffee, which is robust with no bitterness; The Earl Gray Tea is delicious and full flavored and the Suchard Hot Chocolate is superb!

I have been using Tassimo for 6 weeks now and it is great! It is very convenient to be able to switch between different types of drinks. The capuccino and creama is my favorite.
To those of you who reported that it is difficult to cleanup, please read the manual! You do not need to use the rinsing disc everytime. After you use a milk or hot chocolate t-disc, just take the plastic ring and the piercing part out and rinse it. It takes 10 seconds!
It is no StarBucks. But then, I don't have to get dressed and get in my car everytime I crave for a cup of capuccino neither.

No, it is not like having a Starbucks franchise in your house, but who really needs that? What I wanted was a flexible coffee maker that would not take a ton of space on my counter and was a no brainer, because before coffee there is little in the way of clear thinking.
I purchased mine at Bed Bath and Beyond. I buy a lot online but I was ready to go with this and for larger purchases I tend to want it in my hands now. I am too old to ever be super comfortable with internet buying. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I am a major fan of Alton Brown so I am always a bit disappointed when I don't meet W in the Kitchen Department. Instead of a chic, well dressed and informed associate (albeit a rather condescending one) there are a host of harassed looking, very nice, but clueless people. I found a manager because I was torn between the Tassimo and the Keurig. I had almost decided to purchase the Keurig and was in the process of buying my K cups when my husband found the manager to answer my questions. His advice was to buy the Tassimo because a factory rep was there the day before and had shown them everything it could do and, after all, it was made by Braun and who had ever heard of Keurig? I thanked him and then ignored almost everything he said because he just really had no clue at all.
In the end I did buy the Tassimo because they had a greater variety of coffee and the negatives I read just were not a negative to me. I am not a lover of strong coffee. I am not interested in a coffee franchise in my home and the Tassimo was already down and I did not have to get anyone to reach it for me (yes I know, not great reasons). The $20.00 price difference, with the Tassimo being the more expensive of the two was not a factor.
I brought it home and it was late so I was too tired to deal with it. I had a hard time sleeping (which happens on occasion) and I woke up at 1:55 am. I was not getting back to sleep so I went into the kitchen and set it up.
The set up is straightforward, even for an insomniac (I am not technical in the least). You need to soak your water filter for a half hour then you can clean your machine. Follow the instructions any moron can manage it.
I then got tired enough to crash and awoke at 6:00 am ready for my coffee. Stumbling into the kitchen I selected a Tassimo Pod (Crema) and let the machine do its thing. Yes it is loud. Can't wake the dead but loud enough to wake me. My boys (I have four) were not bothered by it and the dog was in the dining room snoring so it is not too loud.
It is easy to use. I ran it and sat down at the computer to read my e-mail in peace and enjoy my coffee. Not too strong, decent coffee taste and hot enough to stand up to the half and half I insist on. So far so good.
By this time my 8 year old was up and wanted some hot chocolate. I made myself a Latte to show him how it worked (he can work it without help. This is a MAJOR bonus). The Latte was good. Yes the milk does taste like packaged milk. I would not expect it to taste like fresh, and the flavor did not detract from the experience I wanted. It is good and frothy. DO NOT sweeten it. My husband put sugar in his and gagged on the sweetness.
My son pronounced the Hot Chocolate "excellent" and proceeded to have three cups till I cut him off. I am limiting him to one a day.
I cleaned the machine between the coffee and the hot chocolate and it was very easy. The parts come out and just need a quick rinse. It was not in the least hard and reinserting the parts is logical. It's not in any way a brain buster, which is not something I want to deal with in the morning. The footprint on the counter is MUCH smaller than the coffee maker I had. The cord is large and cumbersome and does not have a way to hide extra length in the machine. My machine sits right near the outlet so it snakes across my counter. Very annoying but not annoying enough to really bother me.
So far I like this machine. I can have what I want and brew espresso for Tiramisu and after dinner coffee without having a separate espresso maker in my kitchen. I will not be able to make coffee for a crowd but I am keeping my old coffee maker for that. This is a success for me and mine. Is it perfect? Well nothing is. Is it what I wanted? Yes. If you want a "Coffee House" experience there are some excellent coffee and espresso makers out there. The Keurig and the Tassimo are probably not what you are looking for. If you want to make lattes and coffee drinks with a minimum of fuss then this is a strong contender.
->Affordable Braun Tassimo TA 1400 Hot Beverage System
I received this as a free promotional gift and although I appreciate the thought it is a terrible product. I was looking forward to it being a great coffee machine, but it's not.
There are two things that make it a waste of money for those of you who may think of buying it.
1. You can only buy tasteless and weak coffee to use in it.
2. You can't buy the coffee in any local grocery store, only specialty kitchen stores or Amazon. This is not very convenient.
I bought all the coffees that Amazon sells and along with a few friends tested them out. The only thing worth drinking was the Earl Grey Tea and the Hot Chocolate. The question you should consider, is why spend over $150 on an instant hot water machine. Use a microwave if you need it that fast.
The coffee taste awful! If you are someone who drinks Pete's or Starbucks coffee on a regular basis you will not like this machine.
->Deal Braun Tassimo TA 1400 Hot Beverage System
I have always made coffee the old way and ended up throwing out a half a pot a day and/or sacrified the big bucks with Starbucks on a daily basis. I was given a Braun Tassimo machine last week and I will NEVER go back to my old coffee pot. I have read reviews on this product that complain about the weak coffee, the noise, water draining out into the cupholder, not taking big coffee cups, limited selection, too much cleaning and worst of all the product not working at all. I can say I really sympathize with those of you who did pay 170.00 or so and got a lemon. That would drive me crazy too. However, if you get a working machine (as I suspect 98% do) then this is a dream come true!!
The best part is there is NO WASTE, NO MESS (unless you are doing it wrong) and there is a fairly big selection for being such a new machine. No selection? Try Gevalia expresso, regular or decaf (great coffee by the way). There is Gevalia cappucino and crema (gotta try that). Twinings Earl Grey tea and Suchard hot chocolate. There is also Maxwell house coffee and I understand more things are to come soon to include chai tea and possibly Starbucks coffee!! What more do you want from one machine????
This machine is so easy to use I did it right away and now that it is set up, my 9 year old does it! Take it out of the box. Soak the water filter. Plug water filter into water container. Run cycle twice with the cleaning disc in the machine (rinses out the machine). Set up is complete. For a drink, add choice of T Disc to the machine and put water in the water container. The water warms up for about 30 seconds then you push the button. VOILA!!! A perfect cup of coffee/tea/cocoa is ready. Like it stronger?? Cut off the auto cycle a little early. Like it weaker?? After the auto cycle, press and hold the button while it adds more water. I find it does about 10-11 oz of full strength beverage per disc. If you have a bigger mug, add a little water on the manual cycle or simply run another disc. No big deal. The machine takes almost every coffee cup and mug I own except for my big travel one, so complaints about not being able to use mugs I don't understand. As far as the noise, I will say this machine is NOT quiet. If you are looking for a silent machine, this is NOT for you. However, I found the noise quite tolerable and it only lasts for a about 20 seconds while the water is shooting thru the T disc. I have heard expresso machines with way more noise than this.
Now the dreaded clean up. If clean up on this machine is too hard for you then get a life. Water does drain into the cup holder from the steam relief valve. Empty it. Pull out the used T disc and throw it away. If you did a chocolate drink you may need to take the piercing unit out and rinse it off. 5 seconds. Thats all. How hard is that?? Every 3 months, put in the cleaning disc and run some descaler thru the machine and replace the water filter. Thats all it should ever need.
Most importantly, how does it taste? I cannot complain at all. Gevalia coffee is a great product and the machine makes it flawlessly. As I said earlier you CAN adjust the strength if you want. I have made it strong and weaker by manipulating the auto cycle (a one button operation). The Twinings Earl Grey tea is wonderful and comes out piping hot and at a good strength. I have ordered hot chocolate, cappucino, decaf and crema to try those, but I suspect they will be great as well. Some people have complained about the taste of the products and maybe their palate is way more refined than mine or they have to have some exotic brand of coffee that isn't available. So don't buy this machine. If you are looking for a great cup of good quality coffee or tea with a minimum of hassle and clean up, I KNOW this will do the job and I cannot recommend this machine enough!

The only thing is it does not have the ability to make espressos or cappuccinos. But it truly does not make any mess and is easier to work. I knew when the first thing I unpacked was a cleaning disc that this machine was not going to be a "cup of tea".
As others have reported the first couple of drinks, even after running several cups with the cleaning disc, tasted very plasticy. After that, and changing to a 2 espressos to one milk ratio, they were fine.
If you've never used the Keurig machine you will probably be very happy with this machine. But if you are looking for a coffee maker with a large variety of coffees, you would consider the Keurig.

I love my Tassimo, easy,no mess and meets all my needs. I like the variety of coffees, the hot chocolate is great and my husband enjoys the tea, 1 machine does it all ! I purchased mine directly from Gevalia so I have auto shipments whenever I choose.I prefer to make mine with bottled water it really does make a difference,so when the filter runs out no need for a new one. I think, eventually, flavored coffees will be offered, I spoke with a customer service rep. at Gevalia and it looks promising.
For enthusiasts who prefer a variety of coffees without buying 3 different machines, it's perfect, well worth the money !!!

I just got the tassimo for a christmas present and I'm loving it. I love having a nice cup of cappiccuno in the morning, but just don't have time to spend 10 min brewing the expresso and steaming the milk in the morning. Not to mention the fact that since I dont drink milk I never have any on hand! With the tassimo I expect all my problems to be solved. After christmas dinner I made coffee for three of my family memebers and hot chocolate for myself and my brother. Since then I've made myself two cappiccuno au chocolates by adding a little hershy's suryp to the bottom of the cup before brewing.
I can't wait until tuesday morning when I'll be getting ready for work and drinking something lovely.
As for taste, I'm an avid starbucks drinker, even using starbucks expresso roast in my old machine and I've got to tell you this is better cappiccuno than I can ever make since it's so precise in it's brewing. My family tells me the coffee is wonderful and the hot chocolate earlier today was thick and didnt taste at all like it was made with water (even though it was) I did add a little milk to my second cup of chocolate as it was very hot and I wanted to drink it right away and I believe it made it even better by making it a little thinner, something I think might be an american prefrence since the chocolate I've had in europe has always been thicker.
Cleanup is super easy, sometimes after using the milk t-disks there's a few droplets inside where it locks that are easily wiped off with a paper towel.
I love that it includes a water filter as the city I live in does not have the most tasty water and we use a brita for our normal water, I would have never thought of using it for my coffee or tea.
There are a few things I do not like but they are minor when laid against the things I do. First, it is quite loud. A horrid vibrating sound occurs for about ten seconds (I assume this is the water being pulled into the machine). Second is after I wait for the machine to heat and then when it goes to auto (a light that lets you know that you're ready to start) I sometimes have to push the start button a few times before the machine will do anything. I've waited a few minutes before pushing the button again and it does nothing.
Overall I love it, I'm very happy with the gift. Thank you Aunt!

I received the Tassimo for Christmas and have already used it a half dozen times. So far so good. The machine is fast (loud) and the coffee is tasty. I look forward to more coffee choices in the future (wife loves french vanilla)
QUESTION: My filtration system will NOT lock down inside the water reservoir (it floats to the top). Tassimo customer service is clueless (big negative). Has anyone experienced this problem and how was it fixed?

I am chronically late in the mornings. I have listened and tried all the advice (wake up earlier, set alarm earlier, go to sleep earlier, ad nauseam), but nothing has worked for me yet.
The Tassimo machine provides a quick cup of cappucino, espresso, latte, tea, or coffee in the morning. It won't be the BEST cup of coffee, etc. that you will have in your lifetime, but it's pretty OK.
To me, the regular Tassimo coffee is no match for the beans that I grind and brew in my drip machine. The Tassimo coffees (specifically the Gevalia and the Maxwell House) are only mediocre at best. Plus, they're pretty pricey and difficult to find in local stores (and I live in New York City).
I like the espresso/cappucino/lattes much better than the plain old coffee. The flavour is much better, and it really is quick to brew a cup of the stuff. The "milk" is a little too sweet for my taste, and each cup of latte/cappucino comes in at, I think, 3.5 grams of fat. Still, for a quick blast of a latte or cappucino (I much prefer the cappucino), it's pretty good.
The hot chocolate is quite good I think, although, again, not as good as the stuff you would make from scratch.
The tea comes out quite well. I think this is the Tassimo's best brewing (not that tea is difficult to make, mind you).
The machine is simple to clean up, as advertised, and the coffees are simple to brew.
I would recommend this machine for the person who is looking for a quick cup of coffee/etc in the mornings or for the person who likes coffee a lot but maybe isn't picky about coffee. I also think it's pretty expensive, too, so keep that in mind. (I mean the pods are expensive). Recommended with reservations.

My dh bought me this for Christmas and I have to say, I am not disappointed. Yes, the t-discs are expensive but in my opinion that is offset by not having to mess with filters, coffee, water into the pot, etc.
Fill up the reservoir (which I don't have to do for every cup, another benefit), insert the t-disc, press the button and in a little over a minute, I have a delicious cup of coffee in my hands! I do hope the selection of t-discs is expanded ... somewhere I saw something about Starbucks being bought by Philip Morris, who owns Gevalia - who knows, maybe. That would make this 5-star machine a 10 in my mind!
The machine looks great sitting on my counter -- I don't have coffee grinds everywhere -- and couldn't be much easier to use. Great coffee in a very short amount of time -- exactly what I was looking for, exactly what I was promised, exactly what I get.

Just got this for Christmas and I was reluctant to keep it because I just don't envision the world switching from traditional filters and grounds to a nifty little pod. We've got iPod, podcast, and now pod coffee?? I'm not feeling it, dude.
So, with a few snide remarks, I tried it and I have to admit that it's pretty darn good! I use Gevalia coffee in my Cuisinart two-to-go coffeemaker now, so the coffee was fine by me. Lots of people are complaining about the weak flavor, but it tastes the same to me! Bummer about the brewing amount, though. Half a cup just won't do it when I'm about to enter Los Angeles freeway traffic. But if you add milk like I do, then you'll see that it's really not so bad. I can live with it.
If you're a Starbucks person and you think this is too expensive for one cup, then I think you oughta pay attention to the cashier when you go there next time. A dollar a cup is really cheap (and there is no barista/undergrad/rockstar to deal with or a line of grumpy folks waiting for their order). For those complaining about not being able to buy the pods in their local grocery - um, did you buy this machine at Albertson's? Thought not. It makes sense that you can buy the pods at the same place you bought the machine. For me it was Sur La Table and I'm in there all the time. You won't get drama over that from me.
Cleanup is a snap and the noise it makes is NOTHING compared to a coffeehouse espresso machine. I worked one of those when I was a barista/undergrad/rockstar and I think I have permanent hearing loss.
Convenient, easy to clean, solid flavor, happy commuter. It's all good.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. Every year it's either a coffee machine or remote control airplane. I refuse to buy anymore rc planes!!!
It's a bit gimmicky. I bought every type of coffee/tea/cocoa and have tested each one. This product is very easy to clean. I had a leakage problem, but read the product manual and in the trouble-shooting section it resolved my problem.
EDIT/Update: It's been months later and the moms in my playgroup love using it when they come over. One member will mix an espresso disc with a hot cocoa disc and a milk creamer. It's pretty good, I must say.
The only problem I seem to have with this is that sometimes when I put the disc in the unit, the ready light takes longer than is should, and sometimes will not go to ready mode at all. It's suppose to only take a Maximum of 30 seconds. If I find the ready light does not come on within that time frame, I just open the t-disc holder and close it again. That usually does the trick. Sometime I turn the whole unit off and back as well.
The coffee is "good". Full bodied with lots of flavor. Just right.
I will not replace my regular coffee machine that makes 10-12 cups. I most likely will just use this when company comes over. It is loud for 25 seconds. The milk froth part is messy and does require you wipe it off when done. I don't understand the leakage part. There is a container to catch the water. If you have the container fitted properly, then the water won't get on your counter top. Not too much trouble, but not as great as I was hoping.

Yes, it is easy to use. Yes, I like the variety of beverages available. NO, you can't stick a travel mug under there and remove the cup stand unless you put a wad of paper towels under your cup. So you end up filling a small sized coffee cup (not most of the mugs I own), and then pour it into your travel mug. The T-DISCS say you get 11 oz of beverage with the coffee, tea, etc. but I have found that is simply not true. It's more like 8 oz. With EVERY cup you make, you get a significant amount of water coming out of the overflow hole. I have to empty the overflow cup after every four cups of beverage I make, and I think that is excessive. That much water should NOT be coming out of this thing. This isn't from spilling the coffee or tea or not having the cup centered - you can watch the water run out the hole on the lower front wall every time it has to heat the water. And, yes, the sound is about the equivalent to the sound of running my blender for ten seconds. First thing in the morning you really don't want that loud of a noise - even for 10 seconds - I can't understand why they couldn't fix that problem. I'm going to give it a couple weeks because I have a bunch of product to use - but I am already wondering if the makers of this product didn't try it at home for a couple weeks and then fix these issues from their own annoyance. I think there was a big rush to hurry and get this product into the marketplace by Braun as single serve machines have become so popular so they aren't taking their time in design/manufacturing. The longer they waited, the more people would have them and once you have one you use their beverage products and so we end up with a really less than perfect product because they rushed to get market share. If you go to www.singleservecoffee.com you will see that they reviewed all the single serve machines and all the beverages for them and this one didn't make the top of the list or 2nd place and neither did its beverages. I casually mentioned this machine to my family before Christmas and they bought it for me for Christmas as a surprise. I said how innovative it was and hadn't done my homework and they didn't either. I am going to get the receipt from my parents because for this amount of money, I could get a better product.

I am in loooove w/ my Tassimo! I received it as a gift for Christmas and have used it every day since. I thought the novelty may wear off but I don't foresee that happening anytime soon. It's just too convenient, especially for a person who's always running a little behind, and the drinks actually taste really great. I've tried the Earl Grey tea, the hot chocolate, and the cappuccino so far. All are really good. I have no complaints as of yet...I'm recommending it to all of my friends!

Got this Tassimo Coffee maker for Christmas. It works as advertised, and makes a decent cup of coffe, albeit a small cup. But as pod coffer makers go, this would not be my first choice. I have a Bunn pod machine at work which is MUCH better.
When making the coffee, a lot of water leaks around the edges of the coffee disc. Other water drips down through a drain that they make into the machine and all ecess water ends up in the base of the unit, which has to be removed and dumped periodically. It doesn't seem to me to be a very efficient process.
It makes a sort of latte drink, by using first an expresso disc and then a milk disk. The milk ends up everywhere inside the unit and is difficult to clean out. Some of it gets into places that simply cannot be removed for cleaning. Making latte in this machine is quite a messy ordeal, and the end result is not very impressive.
The Tissimo uses a proprietary T-Disc, which only contains enough coffee to make about 8-10 oz. The universal pods that other brands use easily accomodate a 16 oz. travel mug or two 8 oz. cups. The Tissimo T-Discs are about 30-50% more expensive than the pods, they make less coffee, and the choise is limited to one brand only - Gevalia. There are supposed to be Maxwell House T-Discs available, presumably at a lower cost, but I cannot find them anywhere and Tissimo does not sell them.
Bottom line... when shopping for a pod coffee maker, my advise is to get one that can use universal pods, not proprietary "discs". There is a much greater veriety of brands available, and the coffee is less expensive.

I am Editing my review because I have since returned it. I tried to ask the customer service dept. about the possibility of more decaf options and they seemed pretty unsure. Since I only drink decaf that didn't seem promising. I went and bought the Flavia Drink Station and so far it is better than the tassimo. It has many more coffee flavors and more Decaf options (including a french roast decaf). So, if you are unsure about the tassimo and still want the cocoa, cappuccino option, try the Flavia, so far it is really good! After having this machine for a few weeks I am very happy with it. I have read the other reviews about it being messy etc, but I find it is not at all. Compared to other coffee, cocoa making methods, this machine is very easy with minimal cleanup. I've tried the hot chocolate which is great and the Gevalia Decaf Coffee which I thought was a bit weak. There is a way though to make it stronger which I will try next time. The only negative to this machine is the lack of Decaf espresso and lattes. I hope they continue to expand their coffee variety. All in all I think it is a very good machine.

This coffee maker brews a quick cup, but I do prefer the old-fashioned slow-brewed coffee with real steamed milk. That said, I will sacrifice some taste for a few extra minutes before work. I recommend this if you don't mind a slightly artificial taste.
But I am really, really bothered by the amount of waste each cup produces. I much prefer the Senseo type coffee pods, which are still more expensive than regular coffee but at least I can throw the entire pod in the compost bin. I hate looking into my trashcan and seeing all those spent plastic Tassimo pods. Not for the earth-friendly crowd.

Before this, we owned a $200 espresso machine. Making skim lattes with it was very difficult because the milk would turn out way to frothy. I eventually gave up and went to Starbucks every morning instead. Then my fiance stumbled upon this machine. I thought it was too good to be true until we got a taste test at a local department store. I'm not a fan of the regular coffee but the latte, hot chocolate, tea, and cappuccino is great! I can't wait until they start making more!

I have been using the Senseo for years and was always a bit disappointed with the results. I decided to get the Tassimo, and everything I have made in this thing is great including the hot chocolate. I make lattes with this machine by just using the espresso and adding steamed milk or iced lattes with cold milk. The price works out to be less then the senseo pods. 8.99 for 18 tassimo discs (8 ounces each) or about 6 cents an ounce of coffee versus the senseo pods with okay coffee for 19.99 for 72 pods (4 ounces each) or about 7 cents an ounce of coffee. You can even buy the cheaper maxell house discs for the tassimo which taste pretty good. You cannot do this for the Senseo because the results are horrible.
I do not see why people re complaining about the price. The tassimo is comparable to price with the other machines. I am an accountant, I know.

I've longed for a one-step espresso/cappuccino maker for ages but could not bear the price tag. This product finally provides push-button espresso/cappucino at a good price. I had it out of the box and operating in a few minutes, and have enjoyed it for a month now with no problems. It is small, great looking, and easy, easy, easy. I see some complaints about noise among the reviews -- it makes a loud noise for about 2 seconds when the button is pushed, but it's no louder than my coffee grinder. And the coffee tastes good.

I love coffee machines...I wish I could have them all, but my latest purchase will be with me for a long time. The Braun Tassimo makes a great cup of coffee, an expresso, a latte, a cappacino and a hot chocolate...I have tried all of these bar-coded discs in this machine and I am here to attest that it works as advertised. The machine takes a little getting used to, and it is a little loud, but the result is excellent. I saw the machine advertised in an episode of Martha Stewart's "Apprentice". Good marketing piece. I have had the Senseo and the Tassimo wins hands down. It may cost a little more than the Senseo but the coffee is hotter, it tastes remarkedly better and there are more choices. Now, you can truly have a little bistro right in your kitchen.

I bought this for myself. As I enjoy coffee in the morning but my husband does not, so it doesn't pay to buy a big coffee maker. I was thrilled that it made Hot Chocolate as my husband enjoys an occasional cup after snowblowing or playing out side with our son in the snow. Best of both worlds. Well we recieved it and I put it together and primed it for the first cup and couldn't believe the noise it made while it took the water out of the holding chamber. For $170 they should figure out a way to make it a tad quieter. We have 30 days to return it so we'll see.... (Might try the Kuerig sp? next and my husband will just have to make cocoa the old fashioned way)

I was excited about buying the Tassimo because it seems no one drinks the same thing any more. Some people insist on decaf, some on regular, the kids want hot chocolate and more and more people are drinking tea for taste and health. Soooo instead of using all my kettles, Senseo, electric hot water heaters (except for some specialty loose teas), regular grind and brew (such a pain to clean)....the Tassimo is the ideal solution for a busy family, for when I am the only one who needs a quick latte in the morning, and especially for entertaining. The machine is well-built and exceptionally easy to clean. I merely rinse the "disk area" for a few seconds, and then only if the kids have made like four hot chocolates in a row. The water storage container is large, the cord is sturdy, and anyone -- including all my four children -- can pop in a T-disk and make his or her own drink. So far I like the latte and cappaccino, hot chocolate and tea the best. All of the disks are available online at the Tassimo website, Amazon etc. and at my local Linens-N-Things. I find it only drips if I don't put the drip tray back in correctly or the kids don't line up the disk properly with the barcode. You can easily use a travel mug and then just stick the drip tray back in. The Gevalia coffee is better than most, though of course it doesn't compare with freshly ground Jamaican Blue Mountain I just brought back! However I think the latte is pretty darn close to Starbucks. I'm used to those Grande cups, so often I make two disks -- so simple and fast. I'd like them to add more decaf products, flavored coffees and green/white/herbal teas and I'm sure they'll do that soon, since the whole point is the diversity of the drinks while maintaining quality and convenience. I'm totally enthusiastic about this product. We're using it many times a day and I love having a variety of drinks ready for guests at a second's notice with no clean up or wasted coffee. One of my best purchases this year...and I'm an AVID Amazon shopper.

After purchasing the Senseo coffee machine, I returned it after using it one day, b/c of the lack of heat in the coffee. I talked myself into getting the Tassimo and hoped it would be worth the high price. After using it for 2 days, and using it for company I am impressed.
Pros:
*The clean up is the best. You can make all different cups of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and you only have to rinse the holder piece that holds the disk. Hardly any clean up.
*The coffee/tea/chocolate is a good temp, nice and hot and steamy.
*It makes a good size drink.
*A lot of variety in drinks
Cons:
*You have to buy a new water filter every 3 months.
*Tassimo should give you a one Disk for every drink they make for free in the box. This way you can try out every drink that they offer, and not have to spend, $8.00-$10.00 on a bag of coffee that you end up not liking.
*The color for me, (maybe not for you) does not match my kitchen, not everyone has stainless steel appliances, I have white, and Kitchenaid yellow, so this Silver and black appliance sticks out like sore thumb. But I like the retro look, and from a distance, it looks like one of those old fashioned toasters. So, do your homework, pick the machine you like and start drinking.

You cannot beat this machine in terms of convenience. It heats up quickly and makes hot drinks faster (and better) than your microwave. Taste is subjective, and anyone who's really picky about coffee might prefer an old-fashioned method, but I think most people would find the Tassimo drinks very good. I found the Gevalia coffee a little on the bitter side, but my roommate likes it, and he is the main coffee drinker around here. The tea is good, but I haven't tried the espresso or cappucino yet. I like the Suchard hot chocolate very much, and I figured out it's okay to use a smaller cup when making it since the portion is just under 8 ounces. The machine requires almost zero maintenance, but I do wipe the part that pierces the T-Disc foil, because it can get a little hot chocolate syrup on it. At first I was concerned about disposing a T-Disc for every cup that was made, but I read on the Tassimo website that it's okay to peel off the foil and rinse out the plastic to recycle it. The only bad thing I can say is that on the first day we used the machine I thought I noticed a plastic taste in my drink. However, my roommate said he didn't notice it, so it could have been just me. Overall, this is definitely one of the most convenient and fun kitchen appliances I've ever used. For something that doesn't take up a lot of counter space, it is extremely versatile.

1)there was a larger variety of t-disc (more/different teas)
2)it was a little more quieter
3)you could buy t-discs at your local grocery store
4)it were smaller
If Tassimo could correct these errors this would be the perfect machine. The machine worked great and made a nice HOT cup of coffee, but I still returned it and bought a Senseo machine to replace it.

The Tassimo machine makes the widest variety of beverages, so I added it to my Christmas list this last year. The Tassimo single-serving coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappucino, latte, crema brewer is no where near the most expensive present that I received this year. Hands down, however, it is my favorite. It makes delicious drinks that no one can believe came from an automated machine, or were made in less than one minute! One of the big things that makes this machine stand apart from the rest is that the cappucino and latte T-discs contain real milk (doesn't need refrigeration), which make authentic and delicious final products. As with most of the other products on the market, it requires the use of the manufacturer's proprietary "T-discs", which will be approximately fifty cents a piece for the rest of your life. However, I hear the discs will be more and more available at discount retailers/wholesalers soon. Also note that cappucino and latte require 2 discs for each drink: espresso for the coffee and milk for the frothing, bringing the grand total for each of these drinks up to a dollar. The bar code on the latte or cappucino milk disc is scanned by the machine, and it is steamed into the expected drink...each distinctly different from the other. The bar code on the disc that alerts the machine the water temperature, volume, and brew speed is another unique feature of this machine. Many of the other products on the market use a standard amount of water at a standard temperature at a standard brew rate. The Tassimo creates a high-quality, authentic drink by tightly controlling its method of creation, adjusted for the specific drink. I highly recommend this product without reservation.

I won this free (in the audience of a TV show) and returned it along with 2 boxes of refills for roughly $200 store credit before it ended up on the clearance rack and was worthless. My reasons:
1) The cost of replacement pods is about 15 times what you would pay to make good quailty beverages if you bought your own,
2) Limited beverage choices to the pods sold (What to do with it when the pods are discontinued?)
3) You can't get the best coffees/teas in the pods and you can't fresh-grind your own coffee beans or use whole-leaf tea,
4) Takes up too much space in kitchen, and
5) It was very revealing that the correspondence I received to advise me of my prize was from KRAFT FOODS, not Braun or Tassimo. Sing along: "K-R-A-F-T," as in the cheap American cheese slices and mac-and-cheese mix, not gourmet coffee.
Bottom line: It's more of a gadget to sell you the pods, than it is a fine quality machine to make beverages. It's like those razors with the ridiculously expensive refills.
Would give this ZERO stars.

I got this for my husband for Christmas and it is one of his favorite gifts. I drink decaf and hot cocoa and he loves regular coffee and lattes so we can both make what we like. We have a regular espresso/cappucino machine that we NEVER use as it is too messy and time consuming. The Tassimo is also great for company (on Christmas day, we were able to offer a variety of hot drinks quickly and easily and the guests raved over it.) I saw that some people complained about the price of the disks, but a package of the disks is a lot less expensive than buying coffee out every day, which we no longer do. I just wish the disks were more widely available, but I will continue to make a special trip to a store that sells them in the meantime. I have also never had a problem with the temp. of the coffee, it is always super-hot when we make them. We just got one at work as well and it is a big hit. Highly recommend this product.

Received this as my Christmas present and can't stop drinking coffee from it. The Braun Tassimo TA 1400 is single serving beverage system that uses T Discs. Unlike less expensive but more popular coffee pod makers, this will make other beverages such as espresso, tea, cocoa, and latte.
PRO:
1) Beverage quality - Braun has went great lengths in trying to brew a great cup of joe. They have even went into details such as latte's and espresso to get the texture right.
2) Ease of use - Once you learn how to do it, it's easy as pie.
3) Cleanup - There really isn't any. Throw away the disc and once in while wipe the tray.
CON:
1) Price - A little pricey but I believe it's worth it. Also the actuall T Discs are more expensive than the cheaper coffee pods.
2) Cup Tray - I wish the cup tray would allow me put a larger cup such as a travel mug but you can fit a decent size coffe mug in it.
3) Availability - T Discs are not in local grocery stores yet. Normally I find them where the actually beverage system is sold. You can also find them online. This may change soon when Maxwell House releases their discs to the retail market.
RECAP:
I highly recommend this to all coffee lovers. Tassimo makes an excellent cup of coffee. The quality of coffee that is made by Gevalia is superb. I have seen a few comments about how hot the drinks are and have found it completely satisfactory. Maybe after some time the T Disc will get cheaper, currently the cheapest coffee (Maxwell House) is going for $0.36 per cup as compared to the coffee pods which is around $0.27. The price can be much higher such as a latte for $0.56 per cup but it sure beats Starbucks.

We've had a Bruan Tassimo about a week now and I am really disappointed in the end product which is about a measly 5 ounces of lukewarm coffee. We have to zap water in the coffee cup in the m/w twice to heat the cup, empty the water, then make the coffee, add about an ounce or so of water to it and put it back in the micro wave for another zap. Hardly user friendly. Also, we have difficulty finding the coffee pods and find that the stores are usually limited to Gevaglia decaffinated or chocolate drinks. It is one of the more expensive single cup coffee systems and one should expect a better end product then this. They need to go back to the drawing board on this one. I am returning the one I have to the store tomorrow. Buyer beware!

I would echo all the good reviews that have been posted and reply to those who had poor reviews that it sounds as though you may have just had bad luck in getting that "bad apple" off the production line. Unlike some who have posted negative feedback, I have enjoyed always-filled cups (11 oz. cups filled to about the 10 oz. level), and the drinks are never "lukewarm," but are always hot. If you happen to get a Tassimo that performs in this way, just return it for a new one because I believe the average machine is going to redeem itself!
I have tried only the hot chocolate and the crema -- both very satisfying, rich and tasty. I get the discs online and also agree with others that it will be great when the discs are more readily available in grocery stores.
At the price listed here (today the price on Amazon is $121.77), I'm buying a second to take to the office (MY office, that is... not for the breakroom!) I paid much more than that for the first one, plus shipping, tax, insurance, etc. I'm glad to have come upon a more reasonable price -- although I'd love to see the price drop a little bit more. Why is it that manufacturers can't figure out the simple math of it all? Make a pricey product and sell thousands... drop the price and sell MILLIONS! Oh well, if I didn't think it was worth it, I wouldn't be buying another one!
In short, I recommend this product if you are looking for a hot beverage system that offers variety, is fast, and makes great-tasting beverages.

This little machine (which takes up a minimal of counter space) does just what it advertises. It produces a great cup of coffee, tea or hot cocoa in less than a minute. We have used Gevalia coffee (Gevalia coffee & tea is the product provided in the discs)and it is very good. The quick brew does not take a way from the favor, in fact the coffee is actually fresher than a ground bag of coffee. And the machine does Cappuccino and Espresso as well. Go to Tassimo.com and get free gifts when you order the machine and you can set-up a delivery schedule for the discs that will keep you caffeinated until Retirement ! Much easier for a single cup than brewing a whole pot or having to wait 10 mins. for a cup of tea. And the discs can be stored much longer than ground coffee because they are individually vacuum-packed - - you don't have to spoil an entire bag to get a cup !

The product works great, but the one I received had been previously opened(from Amazon, not another vendor from the Amazon site). The coffee capsules were all loose in the sample box. The bags had been cut open and the boxes with the capsules had also been opened. All the bags were in the box but none of the parts were in the bags. The water filter had already been cut open and used.
I will just sell this one since it was on "Sale" and I used a gift card, the one I have that is new works great. Cleanup is simple, just run the cleaning disc before and after use(this takes one minute each time).
Beware of sale, it maybe because these were all returned.

Since I work in the home consumer goods industry, I was being very picky about the perfect coffemaker to purchase. The only coffeemaker that I had before was a cheap Melita dual cup and I had found that machine to make very bad coffee regardless of the quality of coffee. I had heard of the Tassimo by watching Martha Stewart and was intrigued by the technology. Since I am an avid latte drinker, I found that the Tassimo's latte capabilities to be adequate for my needs. I am also the only coffee drinker in the house so having this machine allows for limited waste. I find that paying $1 per T-disc to be sufficient since I usually pay $3.40 for a tall latte at Starbucks. The Tassimo produces coffee in about 1 minute so I find that for people who are rushed in the morning, it is absolutely great! The only downside to this machine is that the temperature may not be hot for some. I order my drinks at Starbucks at 140 degrees so for me it's fine. I don't want coffee so hot that it could potentially injur your taste buds. Well, I hope that Braun never stops making the T-discs or else I'll have $160 sitting in my garage.

Quite simply, this is not a "cheap machine". I have owned it now for about a month, and the ONLY negative I can say about it is that the coffee tastes so good, I'm going through too many T-Discs. If you order the T-discs direct from Tassimo, they take too long to get them (almost 2 weeks). I went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond, paid the same price as on the internet but with no shipping and no waiting.
My kids love the hot chocolate, and I find that the Carte Noire coffee is the best tasting they offer.
It's a great
