This is a great coffee maker for a bargain price. Not a lot features, just a clock and timer. The controls are all near the top of the madhine which makes them easy to see and the clock is actually readable. The bright red color with the stainless steel face plate is a real standout in my kitchen.

Good value purchase. It makes good coffee and looks nice.
The water filter installation is confusing. The instructions do not make it clear that the filter comes in one piece and has to be separated, by the user, into two pieces; the cover assembly head must be popped (I used a stiff butter knife)out of the base piece. It is nested backwards into the base and seems to be permanently fixed that way. It has to be removed, and the filter placed inside, and the cover head (reversed now) snapped back onto the base. That first step is left out of the "Optional Feature (on selected models) - Water Filter".

My husband wanted a new Bunn to replace our old coffeemaker but I wanted red so I ordered this one. We have only used it for about a month but I love it! We can program this one the night before ( can't do that with the Bunn) and the nice 12 cup size seems to keep our coffee nice and hot.

Our son researched and found this one. The appearance is a 5 star as is the quality. As another reviewer had stated the rim around the pot makes
it difficult to clean/empty completely. The opening for the water would be
more convient if a bit larger. The lid to water and coffee basket is large
and prevents it setting under the cupboard. I like the easy to obtain
paper filters, no mess just toss. The coffee tastes good and it is so nice
to see a happy coffee pot first thing in the morning.Amazon service is

I love the coffee pot. I ordered the toaster also it was cheaper at Circut City but there shipping is bad and it came broke I had a tuff time taking it back. Stick with Amazon!!!!!

I bought this product because of the price. It's a great value! I really appreciate the fact that the warmer stays on for about 2 hours and that you can pre-program it to start brewing in the morning. The water filter is a great function, though the water I use is already filtered. So far, all the coffees I've tried using this coffeemaker have been good. I haven't used this very long, so I'd be curious to see how it holds up down the line.

After having other coffeemakers that are hard to clean, slow, unnecessarily complicated, we finally have one that we hope never dies. It's sleek, easy, makes great coffee and at a much faster pace than our previous machine (that died at two years-old!! ARGHHH!). Granted, it doesn't grind the beans for you, but as anyone who has used the Cuisinart Grind & Brew, or something similar, those combos result in a steamy wet mess to clean up every time you brew. Too much moisture from brewing gets into the grinder portion. Also, since the grinding basket has to be dry when you use it, if you forget to clean it out right after use (like you're late for work and the pot is low priority!) and discover your lapse the next day--too late to grind then. So, we have a separate grinder now, and love our Hamilton Beach. Besides, look at it. It's just plain cool!

In my opinion this is a good unit, you get what you pay for. Timer feature is nice, less bells and whistles than some more expensive units. Everything is well designed and "feels" good to use. I bought this for work and don't think it makes quite as good a cup as my more expensive Cuisinart DCC1200 at home. The difference between a good cup and a great cup is subtle (at least to me) This is a good value, functional cup 'a Joe.

I purchased this coffee maker because I was tired of our old coffee pot. I mainly bought this one because of the good reviews it got. I must say, that everyone was correct. It makes a great cup of coffee in a very short period of time, as opposed to our old one. The only negative points are that the carafe is a little hard to wash and dry due to some nooks and crannies, and that it is bright red in color. So, if you want a good cup of coffee and you want it quick, this is the coffee maker for you.

We had no need for a new coffee pot. The free one from Gevelia was working just fine. However, on a recent trip to K-mart we caught this one on sale for just under 40 bucks, and it's RED! We've slowly been building up a counter top of red kitchen appliances, so the coffee maker fits right in!
Easy to clean! The mouth of the pitcher is as wide as the base, so it's easy to get your hand inside to clean it out unlike some. Few buttons, so it's easy to program too. Very light weight, so it's also easy to move the maker around if needed. No complaints about speed either. I never feel like I'm waiting on it to finish. One small complaint, but it's nothing major...there is no room for going over the 12 cup limit. It will overflow! Some makers have a little room for you to overfill, but not this one! No biggie, just don't overfill!
I also like the wide karaff on this one. A lot of pitchers have a weird karaff that always causes you to spill a few drops when pouring that first cup. Not this one! Clean up of the coffee ground chamber is easy too. I suggest investing in one of those permanent copper reusable filters. They work really well with this one. I have yet to end up with grounds in the coffee.

Finally a coffeemaker that doesn't drip. It also looks great and makes a good cup of coffee. I was looking for a Krups but I must say this was cheaper and makes just about as good cup as ny old Krups. I give it a five star for value .

The coffee maker makes great coffee and is easy to operate and clean. One caveat - the water filter device is awkward to say in the least, and required that I use a screwdriver to pop it open, and then of course that only scrathes it up and makes it even harded to open the next time. Simple solution - throw the filter out. The coffee maker seems to be operating just fine, and making just the same good cup(s) of coffee.

I received this coffee maker about a week after ordering it, packed well and in working order. It's much faster than my old coffee maker, the coffee is hot, and that irritating drip when you pour is nonexistent. It's easy to fill, to clean, and it looks great sitting on the counter. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a good-looking, sturdy coffe maker. I even imagine the coffee tastes better, but that's probably just because I *think* it does.
